★ Little Snitch v 4.3.2
License Key "Are you using a third-party firewall, such as Little Snitch? If so, please click allow all connections for our app so it can communicate with the server properly." Yeah, Little Snitch shows just how much telemetry Apple macOS collects by itself. It’s a bit annoying how noone ever touches on that - people keep Microsoft to significantly higher standard :( But if you are noticing strange traffic from an unknown application or a high volume of data being sent to a particular location, then it might be worth looking into. For example, it’s completely normal for Amazon Prime Video to be sending a bunch of data from Seattle since that’s where Amazon’s located. But it’d be more peculiar if your banking or financial application or website were sending data to North Korea at odd hours of the night. No annoying pop-ups Look for Similar Items by Category

How did you get around not having for MS Office? I’ve got the retail box of 2016 for Mac (not the 365 one) and it still required me to make one :( Silent protection. The Little Snitch application runs inconspicuously in the background and it can even detect network-related activity of viruses, trojans, and other threats to your privacy. check your emails - lots of listeners Connections are grouped by domain (e.g. or ) for easy navigation. Prevents applications from "phoning home". I then try to open up Safari and browse to, say, Google. This will typically fail for two reasons: outgoing DNS queries are not allowed outside of the network and Safari doesn’t have rights to connect outside the local network. If my DNS servers are outside of my local network I add a rule to allow the DNS lookup process to connect to only the DNS servers I have defined. I then give Safari allow rules for ports 80 and 443. Both of these rules are added to the home network only profile. Little Snitch is a firewall application and, as you may know, your Mac has a built-in firewall that you can turn on and use to quietly block unauthorized incoming network connections. So why buy a separate app if you already have something built-in? The answer is simple: Little Snitch does more than just block or allow incoming network connections. It gives you detailed information on all your network communication, whether it’s from the outside world coming into your Mac or it’s being sent from your Mac to anywhere on the internet. Question: Do you use an Android phone? Just saying.... you have much bigger problems on this kind of devices.
